The Fraser Hickson Library celebrated Black History month and the opening of a new MINIBIBLIO simultaneously in February when it opened a new MINIBIBLIO at the St-Raymond’s Community Center. Helen Fortin, the Executive Director of the Fraser Hickson, said the MINIBIBLIO in the St-Raymond sector was a long time coming and that it would provide free access to books to families in the neighbourhood.
“It’s nice to know that there is a library at the end of the street that you can go to”, Helen Fortin said. The opening of a MINIBIBLIO in St-Raymond marks the great return of Fraser Hickson to the sector after the library moved from Madison to its current location on Botrel.
